Grigor Dimitrov is competing at Indian Wells and has reached the round of 64 after defeating former World No. 52, Terence Atmane, in the first round. His girlfriend, Mexican actress and singer Eiza González, has been spotted at the venue, showering her support on the World No. 42, who is set to face the World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in his upcoming match.

Dimitrov, who has been dating González since early 2025, is aiming for a deeper run at the Masters 1000 tournament at Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The tournament lineup features elite talent, with Alcaraz as the top seed, followed by Jannik Sinner, Novak Djoković, Alexander Zverev, Lorenzo Musetti, and others, promising action-packed clashes.
González has been a consistent presence for the former World No. 3 during his tour matches. She achieved her breakthrough with the Mexican telenovela ‘Lola, érase una vez,’ in which she was the lead female protagonist. Furthermore, she has been rising in the industry through her endeavours, starring in sitcoms, television series, and movies, notably action films ‘Baby Driver’, ‘Alita: Battle Angel’, and many more.
She was recently seen attending Dimitrov’s Indian Wells match, wearing an elegant brown-and-beige dress, and also displayed her humility by thanking the usher with a photo of the two of them, as he had helped her find the player’s box before the match. The couple made their first appearance together at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and have been going strong ever since.

The Bulgarian star returned to his 2026 season with the Brisbane International after suffering from a sudden pectoral injury during his fourth-round 2025 Wimbledon Championship match against Sinner, and he also suffered a shoulder injury later. He recently reflected on how he managed his injuries and off-court time during an interview with ‘Tennis Channel’.
Dimitrov added, “Well, everything was new. I never really had to step away from the court for such a long time. I started exploring a lot more than I thought I could ever stretch myself to, if that makes sense. I completely got away from the sport, which, now when I look at it, I think was not a bad idea.”
He continued, “But it also shows how difficult it is, once you lose the reins a little bit, you really have to be so self-conscious and self-aware in terms of discipline, hard work, and ideas of what you want your game to look like.”
Against Dimitrov, Alcaraz leads the head-to-head 4-2, and the duo last met in the round of 16 at the 2025 Indian Wells, with the Spaniard clinching the win.
