Jannik Sinner won his previous trophy in front of his family and girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic. While his loved ones haven’t accompanied him to the Spanish capital, the World No. 1 is surely enjoying their support from afar as he aims for history at the Madrid Open.
Sinner, who is chasing his first title at the tournament, faces two-time champion Alexander Zverev in Sunday’s title clash.
Jannik Sinner’s Girlfriend Laila Hasanovic Misses the Madrid Open
Sinner is presently on a 22-match winning streak, having won three titles, Indian Wells, Miami, and Monte-Carlo, before his run at the Madrid Open. The Italian stands a chance at creating history on Sunday by becoming the first man to win five consecutive Masters 1000 titles, extending a streak that dates back to last year’s Paris Masters.
While Sinner celebrated his titles in Indian Wells and Miami sans his family and partner, they showed up to cheer him on at the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he beat defending champion Carlos Alcaraz to lift the trophy.
The player’s sweet moments with his loved ones were captured on camera, with his girlfriend, Hasanovic, grabbing the spotlight. The couple stayed back in Monaco for a few days before Sinner resumed his campaign at the Madrid Open.

Hasanovic appears to have since returned to Denmark, sharing a few updates on her recent photoshoot. While she is missing in the Spanish capital, she has been keenly following the World No. 1’s results, leaving likes on his Instagram updates.
Hasanovic, a Danish model of Bosnian descent, has been spotted cheering her partner on since early 2025. Meanwhile, it was only in October last year that Sinner confirmed their relationship, during his victory speech in Vienna.
Since beating Alexander Zverev in the Vienna final, Sinner has faced the German five more times, including semifinal meetings at all four Masters 1000 events he has won since.
At the Madrid Open, the top two seeds are set for their first final against each other since the ATP 500 in Vienna. The World No. 1 has won his last eight contests against Zverev, leading their head-to-head record 9-4.
