Cobolli vs. Korda Head-to-Head
Korda and Cobolli have met twice before, and the American has had the upper hand in their head-to-heads. Both their meetings came in 2024, and Korda won both in three sets. The last time they met was in the Washington Open final, with Korda coming from behind to secure a 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 win.
Part of the golden generation of Italian tennis, Cobolli enjoyed a breakthrough season last year, winning two titles. He enjoyed a poor start to 2026, losing four matches in a row before his run to the Delray Beach Open semifinals.
Cobolli defeated Terence Atmane 7-5, 6-4 in his opener at Delray Beach. He edged past Wong to make the semifinals, earning a hard-fought 7-5, (9)6-7, 6-2 win.
Korda started his season with a run to the quarterfinals in Brisbane, before losing in the first round in both Adelaide and Melbourne. He then reached the final as the top seed in the Challenger event in San Diego, where he lost to Zachary Svajda in straight sets.
The 25-year-old was narrowly beaten by Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals of the Dallas Open last week. He has looked solid in Florida and came from behind to defeat Ruud in the last round, earning a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 win.
Cobolli vs. Korda Prediction
Korda goes into this semifinal in slightly better form than Cobolli. He also leads their head-to-head, and will be buoyed by his win over Ruud in the quarterfinals. The world No. 50 also hails from Florida and will have the crowd’s support.
Cobolli had a much easier path to the semifinals as the third seed. And while he struggled against Wong in the quarterfinals, he will be eager to make the most of this opportunity by making the final.
The Italian will be the slight underdog in this one amid his slow start to the 2026 season. We are backing Korda to continue his fine run of form by qualifying for the Delray Beach Open final in what should be a tight match on Saturday.
Pick:Â Korda to win in three sets
