Lorenze, the famed influencer and entrepreneur, who announced her engagement to ATP star Tommy Paul in July last year, shares a blossoming friendship with the World No. 4, who headlined the 2026 United States team in the United Cup tournament.
Gauff, along with Taylor Fritz, Christian Harrison, Nicole Melichar-Martinez, Mackenzie McDonald, and Varvara Lepchenko, entered the mixed-gender tournament as the defending champions, reaching the semifinal round and losing to Poland with a scoreline of 2-1. The World No. 4 went on to win her singles match against Świątek with two sets of 6-4 and 6-2 and clinched her fourth back-to-back win against the Pole.
After her match, Gauff had expressed, “I didn’t the let the opportunities that I had on the first two times I had match points get away from me. She played well. Maybe there was one error on the backhand, but after that, she played the better tennis, but I knew that how I was playing the whole match I would get it done.”
Through her recent Instagram post, Gauff shared the top moments from her match and added, “Hello!” in the caption.
