Coco Gauff and Iga Świątek Share a Glimpse of their Eventful 2025

Gauff posted a brief but heartfelt message on Instagram: “a lot of dreams fulfilled, a lot of love shared, and a lot of gratitude. Ty 2025✨” Her caption came with photos highlighting the wins and moments that made her year memorable.

The short message captured her momentum heading into 2026, reflecting on everything she achieved across the past 12 months. Rather than diving deep into details, Gauff chose simplicity to express what was on her mind.

From major victories to fun times with family, friends, and the coaching staff, to her vacation pictures and scenic views, the top-ranked American woman shared all the meaningful moments from one of her best years in one single Instagram post.

Świątek’s Instagram post, on the other hand, took a more detailed approach. The Polish player opened by asking, “Oh 2025, where do I even begin?” before diving into her thoughts. She spoke about having “healthy, happy, and surrounded by amazing, supportive people,” saying that foundation mattered most to her success.

The Pole highlighted how she achieved dreams that “at times felt far too distant” and described winning Wimbledon as something that “changed my already extraordinary life.” She addressed the ups and downs of the year, using the wheel of life to explain how she moved through challenges by learning and moving forward. Looking ahead, Świątek wrote she was entering 2026 “with a smile, determination, and the feeling that the best is yet to come.”

The Pole’s post included trophy shots and snapshots from key matches throughout the season, with her Wimbledon win standing out as the centerpiece of her year.

She also shared images from major victories, celebrating with her team and staff, and on-court moments with fellow tennis players Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud, along with fun images from throughout her year.

Gauff and Świątek’s Impressive 2025 Seasons

Gauff’s big breakthrough came at the French Open in June. She beat World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-4 to win her first Grand Slam at Roland Garros. Trailing in the first set, Gauff fought back to claim the title and become the first American woman to win at the French Open since Serena Williams in 2015.

Beyond that major success, she won the Wuhan Open with a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Jessica Pegula. For the year overall, Gauff recorded 48 wins and 16 losses, a solid mark that included final runs at Madrid and Rome. What stood out was her consistency at the top level: she became the first American female player to reach three WTA 1000 finals in a single year since Serena Williams managed it back in 2014.

Świątek had her moment at Wimbledon in July. She swept Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in just 57 minutes to win her first title on grass and her sixth major overall, showcasing remarkable dominance. She became only the second player in the Open Era to win a major final without dropping a game, joining Steffi Graf from 1988.

Later in the summer, Swiatek won Cincinnati with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Jasmine Paolini, making her the first Polish player ever to win that title, along with a title in Seoul in September.

Across 2025, Swiatek won 62 matches, one less than the top player of the list, Sabalenka, on the tour this year. That made four straight seasons of 60 or more wins for her – a feat no one had achieved since the late 1990s with players like Lindsay Davenport and Martina Hingis.
