Coco Gauff’s most recent outing on tour came at the 2025 WTA Finals, where she was unable to defend her title. The American began with a three-set loss to compatriot Jessica Pegula, bounced back with a comfortable straight-sets victory over Jasmine Paolini in her second group match, but ultimately fell to World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final group stage match, bringing her campaign to an end.
With that, the American concluded a decent season marked by a 48-16 win-loss record and two titles, including a Grand Slam triumph at Roland Garros and a WTA 1000 title in Wuhan. After a demanding season, Gauff is taking a step back to recharge for 2026, savoring quiet, personal moments away from the spotlight with her boyfriend Sera.
The couple recently enjoyed a stroll through Los Angeles’ Jeffrey Deitch Gallery, giving fans a glimpse of their outing as they admired Alteronce Gumby’s masterpieces. They shared the experience on Instagram Stories, capturing the gallery’s relaxed and colorful atmosphere.
Recently, Sera shared more pictures from their Los Angeles outing, and the couple appeared genuinely joyful, savoring their downtime. The young musician also included a collage of selfies with the World No. 3 and was spotted enjoying pancakes paired with a glass of iced matcha.

Nearly a week ago, Gauff shared an Instagram post reflecting on the 2025 season. The American acknowledged that while there were some disappointments, the year was primarily marked by positives.
“My 2025 season is officially over and it was a longggg one. I played my first match of this season December 29th, 2024 and my last match of the season November 6th, 2025😳. It was filled with some disappointments but mainly positives and when I look back at it, I feel proud of all the things I accomplished,” she captioned.
Gauff later expressed her gratitude to God for the entire journey and the experiences tennis has given her.
“I love this sport and I am grateful for all of its ups and downs. Very few feelings come close to the euphoria you feel when you are living in a dream come true or a prayer come to fruition and I am eternally grateful to God for these experiences and the opportunity to feel this feeling constantly,” she added.
The American also finished the 2025 season as World No. 3 and with a whopping $7.27 million in prize money.
