Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu were recently spotted at Wimbledon and the two also had a practice session. The two are currently in London for the grass-court Major, where Alcaraz will face Fabio Fognini in the first round while Emma Raducanu will be up against compatriot Mingge Xu.

Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu Practiced at Wimbledon

A few pictures of Alcaraz and Raducanu have been shared on social media, that shows the two together at Wimbledon.

A video of the two indulging in a hitting session on a court was also shared.

Alcaraz recently joined Raducanu as a global ambassador for Evian water, just days before the grass-court Major’s commencement, and both players were spotted doing an Evian activation together.

Just a few days back, Emma Raducanu was also seen attending one of Carlos Alcaraz’s matches at the Queen’s Club Championships. When asked about the Brit being present in his post-match press conference, the Spaniard said:

“I saw on social media she came up to watch my match. I just glad. I mean, I was focused on the match. I didn’t see her. Just glad that she came to support, to watch my match. Yeah, I think it was great having her in the stands.”

Earlier this month, the pairings for the new mixed doubles tournament at the US Open were released, with Carlos Alcaraz teaming up with Emma Raducanu. When asked about this at a press conference during the Queen’s Club Championships, Alcaraz said that he requested the Brit to team up with him at the New York Major.

“Yeah. I mean, the tournament told us about the tournament, the mixed tournament. I was thinking that I couldn’t play better if it wasn’t with Emma. I just asked Emma if she wants to play doubles with me. Yeah, I made that special request,” Alcaraz said.

If the 21-year-old wins his Wimbledon opener, he will take on either Leandro Reidi or Oliver Tarvet in the second round. As for Emma Raducanu, she will take on either 32nd seed McCartney Kessler or 2023 champion Markéta Vondroušová if she wins her first-round match at the grass-court Major.
