Ben Shelton spent the holidays with his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, and her family during a visit to Disney World in Florida. Shelton and Rodman began dating earlier this year and have since been the talk of the tennis world.
After several teases on social media, Ben Shelton finally made it official with NWSL star Trinity Rodman back on March 17. Rodman shared a post as well, calling “dibs” on the tennis player. Since then, the couple has created numerous romantic moments on and off the court. Rodman has been a steady presence in Shelton’s box during his matches, at high-profile events such as the French Open and at Wimbledon.
2025 Has Been A Great Year For Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman
Shelton has become a haven for Rodman, as evident from the soccer star’s post, which mentioned the tennis star as a “safety blanket” in a TikTok video from April. When Rodman made her comeback on the soccer field after a lengthy injury layoff and scored a goal to help her team win, Shelton was filled with pride at his girlfriend’s efforts, saying, ” One year anniversary from her incredible goal at the Olympics, hadn’t played in 100-something days, and she goes in and in 15 minutes scores a banger. It’s pretty cool, especially [because] she was emotional. I’m always happy for her.”
Recently, Shelton spent time with Rodman’s family during the Christmas festivities in Florida. Rodman’s mother, Michelle, shared a snapshot of the family gathering at Disneyland with Shelton being part of the picture with a caption, “Another one from Florida…Merry Christmas.
This comes after Rodman had also visited Shelton’s family when the latter was down in Atlanta for an exhibition event.
Rodman is the daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, which has always brought its own share of scrutiny and media attention on the soccer star. However, she remains estranged from her father, which was evident when she vocally criticized the commentators for mentioning her father during one of Shelton’s matches at Wimbledon.
On court, Shelton won 40 of the 64 matches in the 2025 season, winning his maiden Masters 1000 event at the Canadian Open in Toronto. He also had a runner-up finish at the BMW Open in Munich, where Rodman made an appearance in the stands, as the couple had made their relationship official.
Barring these performances, Shelton once again proved that he was a big-match player and relished the spotlight, as he had great runs at Grand Slams, reaching the semifinals at the Australian Open and then the quarterfinals at Wimbledon, losing to Jannik Sinner on both occasions.
