In the final group match, the Belarusian put together another fantastic performance, winning 7-6 (4), 6-2 against Coco Gauff.

Meanwhile, Anisimova had a rocky start to the event, losing 3-6, 1-6 against Elena Rybakina in the first match. The American looked down and out when she lost the first set against compatriot Madison Keys in the next match and conceded an early break in the second set. However, she rallied back, winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 against Keys, and then came back from a set down against Iga ÅšwiÄ…tek, winning 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-2 over the Pole in her final group game.
