Anastasia Potapova Shows Off Tallon Griekspoor’s Trophy in Vienna, Months After Sparking Relationship Rumors

Anastasia Potapova was in attendance in Vienna to see Tallon Griekspoor win the Red Bull BassLine amid rumors of a relationship between the two.

Russian tennis star Anastasia Potapova was recently spotted in Vienna during Tallon Griekspoor’s triumphant run at the Red Bull BassLine 2025. Potapova, who apparently supported the Dutchman during the event, also flaunted his coveted trophy online. Notably, this update arrives months after their relationship rumors first emerged, when the former World No. 21 was seen cheering on Griekspoor during notable ATP events.

Anastasia Potapova Spotted During Tallon Griekspoor’s Triumphant Run at the Red Bull BassLine 2025

Griekspoor enjoyed a stellar outing at Red Bull BassLine 2025, clinching the title with a 3–0 victory over Australia’s Alexei Popyrin in the fast-paced mini tie-break final. Popyrin, meanwhile, reached her second consecutive final at the event but fell short once again.

The event’s distinctive format, no umpires, and live music with commentary delivered an electrifying experience for players and fans alike. But apart from Griekspoor’s triumph, Potapova’s appearance also sparked attention.

Rumors about the pair first surfaced when the Russian attended Griekspoor’s match against Ugo Humbert at the Dubai Duty Free Championships and was also spotted at the Indian Wells Masters in March.

The speculation grew when the pair was spotted at Griekspoor’s friend Chelsea Bergman’s wedding in September, held in Andratx, Spain.

Although the two weren’t pictured together, they were spotted vacationing in Bodrum, Turkey, around the same time, with both sharing glimpses of the trip on their respective social media accounts.

Amid a flurry of social media updates about the pair, Potapova made an appearance at the Red Bull BassLine final in Vienna. She first posted a clip capturing the event’s electric atmosphere, then shared a photo proudly holding Griekspoor’s trophy.

It’s worth noting that Potapova was previously married to Kazakh tennis player Alexander Shevchenko, but less than a year after tying the knot, the couple decided to part ways toward the end of last year.

“I really wish Sasha, I can say it on camera, I’m not ashamed of these words. I really wish him all the best, and he deserves all the best. I wish him all the best with his career, as well, because he’s very talented and he has to keep working and developing as a player,” she told Bolshe’s Sofya Tartakova following her seperation.

While Griekspoor’s prowess came to display recently in Vienna, Potapova’s most recent appearance came at the 2025 China Open in Bejing. The former World No. 21 earned straight-set wins over KateÅ™ina Siniaková, Victoria Mboko, and Zeynep Sönmez, before falling to Linda Nosková in a similar fashion in the fourth round.
