Taylor Swift is ready to celebrate big when she marries Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and the guest list won’t be small.

Will Taylor Swift’s Wedding Be a Star-Studded Affair?
During her October 3 appearance on “The Graham Norton Show,” Swift confirmed she plans a large celebration and even invited the host himself.
When Norton asked if 2026 would be the wedding year, Swift playfully responded that he would definitely know because she intended to invite him. She clarified her approach to the guest list, explaining she won’t stress over borderline invitations.
“I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble. You have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that,” Swift explained during the interview.
The pop star laid out her approach: if they’ve spent time together multiple times, they’re invited. She joked about the criteria, suggesting that hanging out five to eight times would guarantee someone a spot at the wedding.
Swift admitted that she’s focusing on promoting her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” before diving into wedding preparations. She said planning will come after her current promotional commitments wrap up, though she expressed genuine excitement about the process ahead.
“I just am doing the album thing now, which is a big thing and then I think the wedding is what happens after that in the scheme of the planning, but I’m really, I’m so excited about it. I’m just like I know it’s gonna be fun to plan,” Swift told Norton.
How Did Taylor and Travis’s Relationship Lead to Their Engagement?
Swift and Kelce’s relationship became public in September 2023 when the pop star began attending Chiefs games. The couple quickly became one of the most high-profile pairings in sports and entertainment, with cameras tracking Swift’s every reaction in the stands each Sunday.
Kelce proposed in August 2025 at his Missouri home while they recorded his New Heights podcast for several hours. During the recording, he secretly transformed his backyard into a garden setting. They announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post captioned “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Swift acknowledged during her Heart Radio U.K. appearance on Friday that wedding planning presents new challenges. She hasn’t organized her bachelorette party yet, citing the difficulty of coordinating friends scattered across different continents.
“Everyone’s scattered across the world, is the thing,” she said.
The singer confessed she never envisioned her ideal wedding until meeting Kelce. Swift explained that her approach to wedding planning was nonexistent before their relationship.
“You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would do or what I would want until I met the person. So I haven’t actually thought about that … like doing a [bachelorette party],” she told Heart Radio.
Meanwhile, Kelce continues balancing his NFL career with his podcast and acting projects. Through four games in the 2025 season, the Chiefs’ tight end has posted 15 receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown.
PFSN ranks him with a C+ grade and a 77.5 Tight End Impact score, placing him 14th among tight ends this season.
