The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and are looking to take that next step after losing at home to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Wild Card Round. They’ve been the most complete team in the NFC South and need to keep finding ways to win.
They’ve got plenty of star players earning big money. So, who are the 10 most expensive players on Tampa Bay’s 2025 roster?
10 Most Expensive Players on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2025 Roster
10) Graham Barton, C | $14.027 million
That’s right — a second-year player is one of the Bucs’ 10 biggest contracts. Center Graham Barton, the 26th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, is on a four-year, $14.027 million deal. He’s got a chance to earn a big extension down the line, but the team also holds a fifth-year option through 2028.
9) Calijah Kancey, DT | $14.493 million
Calijah Kancey, a 2023 first-round pick, is entering Year 3 of his rookie contract. He’s logged 11.5 sacks, 54 tackles, 29 QB hits, and two turnovers in 26 games. With Haason Reddick now on the line, Kancey should get more one-on-one looks in 2025.
8) Ben Bredeson, G | $22 million
Ben Bredeson re-signed this offseason on a three-year, $22 million deal that includes $12.5 million guaranteed. He’s expected to lock down the left guard spot again as Tampa continues investing in the O-line.
7) Mike Evans, WR | $41 million
Mike Evans is in the final year of a two-year, $41 million contract. He’s had 1,000+ receiving yards in every season of his career, including last year, despite missing four games. Heading into his age-32 season, he’s still the offense’s most reliable playmaker.
6) Jamel Dean, CB | $52 million
Jamel Dean is in Year 3 of a four-year, $52 million deal. He played 12 games last season, posting seven pass breakups, 59 tackles, and a forced fumble. The Bucs need him to bounce back in 2025 and stay healthy.
5) Chris Godwin, WR | $66 million
Chris Godwin could’ve chased more money elsewhere, but he re-signed on a three-year, $66 million contract with a team option in 2027. That’s a bargain for a top-tier WR. He’s coming off a season-ending ankle injury, but he had 50 catches for 576 yards and five scores in just seven games.

4) Vita Vea, DT | $71 million
Vita Vea is in Year 2 of a four-year, $71 million deal that only included $14.7 million guaranteed. He made the Pro Bowl last year with 7.0 sacks and 10 tackles for loss. His cap hit climbs soon, but the team should keep leaning on him up front.
3) Antoine Winfield Jr., S | $84.1 million
Antoine Winfield Jr. signed a four-year, $84.1 million deal last offseason, which was the biggest safety contract in NFL history at the time. He missed time last year with injuries and finished with just nine games played. He’ll need to bounce back to live up to that price tag.
2) Baker Mayfield, QB | $100 million
Baker Mayfield signed a three-year, $100 million contract after a breakout season. He tossed 41 touchdown passes in 2025 and enters Year 2 of the deal. If he keeps producing like that, he could get a new extension before it expires in 2026.
1) Tristan Wirfs, T | $140.6 million
Tristan Wirfs tops the Bucs’ payroll with a five-year, $140.6 million deal. His cap hit stays low until 2026, but he’s worth every penny. As one of the league’s best left tackles, he’s the anchor of this offensive line and Baker’s top protector.
