And then, there were two. After five months of thrilling NFL football, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots will battle for it all in Santa Clara, California, this Sunday. If you’re planning to stay up to watch the game in the UK, here’s all the information you need regarding where and when to tune in.
Seattle Seahawks Take On the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 60
The players, coaches, and venue may all be different, but Seattle’s fans could be forgiven for believing their team has a score to settle this Sunday. Seattle’s last Super Bowl appearance, in Feb. 2015, ended in heartbreak as they lost to the Patriots on the last play of the game.
That game was ultimately decided by a historic defensive play by Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler, and the two defenses will likely be the stars of the game this time around. Both defenses ranked in the top four in points allowed in 2025, with Seattle the stingiest defense in the NFL, allowing just 17.1 points per game on average.
Mike Macdonald’s Seahawks are the popular favorites and are widely regarded as the most complete team in the NFL. The Patriots, led by Mike Vrabel, should prove formidable opponents, though, and have potential game-winners on both sides of the ball.

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye was almost named MVP for his performances during the regular season, and his dual-threat ability will be crucial for New England. Meanwhile, Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold would complete an all-time career revival if he were to lift the Lombardi Trophy, having been considered a lost cause as recently as 2024.
Start Time and Viewing Options for Fans in the UK
Sunday’s showpiece is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 p.m. UK time. There will, of course, be several traditions taking place before then, including a rendition of the American national anthem. Popstar Charlie Puth will be the one to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” while rock icons Green Day will also perform pre-game, as will Brandi Carlile and Coco Jones.
The headline act, though, aside from the game itself, is Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, fresh off a Grammy win for his album “Debà Tirar Más Fotos.” It is expected to be the first Super Bowl halftime show to be performed entirely in Spanish, with the artist dedicating the event to “all Latinos and Latinas across the world.”
