After the Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Tyreek Hill, speculation as to his next move grew. One analyst feels like the Pro Bowl wideout has definite options.
Stephen A. Smith Believes the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens Should Be the Top Choices for WR Tyreek Hill
After 54 games, 340 catches, 4,733 yards, and 27 touchdowns, the Dolphins released Hill. Hill turns 32 on March 1, potentially opening doors for his next NFL stop. This morning, NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith listed where he believes the eight-time Pro Bowler will play.

“He should be targeting going back to Kansas City. He should want to go back and play with Patrick Mahomes because he is desperately needed. He should want to go back. Dammit, he should have never left. Miami offered him a little more money than Kansas City did. It should be Kansas City, Buffalo, or Baltimore. One of the three.”
In response to Smith’s assertions, Hill does have an extended history with the Chiefs. From 2016 to 2021, he played in Kansas City, catching 479 passes for 6,630 yards and 56 touchdowns.
On top of that, Hill won a Super Bowl with the organization. However, in the seasons that followed, the Chiefs won two Super Bowls without him. Plus, the franchise moved on.
They employ Xavier Worthy, another speedster who plays similarly to Hill. As a result, bringing him back could be construed as redundant.

At the same time, if anyone could figure out how to use duplicate wideouts, Andy Reid could find a way. The question is whether Reid would want Hill back and, if so, at what price? According to Spotrac, Hill boasted an annual salary of $30 million.
The Ravens present a different option. Granted, they do need an outside receiver. However, with Zay Flowers inhabiting the speedy wideout route, where would Hill fit? More importantly, new head coach Jesse Minter wants to establish a traditional Ravens team with his touches. How does a ten-year veteran with baggage fit into that?
With the NFL draft and the free agency on the horizon, the Ravens could attempt to sign Hill at a lowball discount. Chances remain high that he could find a lucrative opportunity elsewhere.
The Bills present, from a need, possibly the best fit of the three teams. First, they do not have a wide receiver who can stretch the field. Quarterback Josh Allen’s team struggled with separation again.

Their top wideout, Khalil Shakir, occupied the No. 30 spot in PFSN’s NFL WR Impact Rankings. Adding a vertical threat to a team that prioritizes the run game could help new head coach Joe Brady from the first day of camp. Whether Hill wants to go to any of these franchises remains to be seen.
