‘Take Off the Blinders’ — Stefon Diggs’ Sexual Assault Accuser Fires Back at Cardi B After Rapper’s Explosive Rant

Despite Cardi B siding with Stefon Diggs in spite of their personal differences, his sexual assault accuser remains unconvinced.

Stefon Diggs’ legal issues continue to put the star wide receiver in tough situations, as a dreadful summer drags on for him.

He has already been released by the New England Patriots and reportedly parted ways with Cardi B. To make matters worse, a sexual assault accusation by Chris Griffith has now led to a lawsuit, with the case still in the discovery phase and no trial date yet set. But even after Diggs and Cardi reportedly parted ways, the rapper was immediately ready to defend him against the accusations.

Cardi B Jumps to Stefon Diggs’ Defense

Last year, as the New England Patriots took a chance on Diggs as a veteran locker-room leader and star wide receiver for Drake Maye, he delivered on both fronts. On the personal front as well, his relationship with Cardi B was taking off.

However, a year later, things have taken a dramatic turn for the worse. But as he copes with losses on both the personal and professional fronts, the allegations against him have become horrific.

Griffith, a social media influencer, publicly claimed that the four-time Pro Bowler had allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted him. At the time, Diggs put out a lawsuit against him for libel. But Griffith countered with a sexual assault lawsuit against him.

So far, the two’s stories have vastly differed about the night in question. Now, after his latest comments about the text message chains between the former Buffalo Bills star and his partner, Cardi B had to intervene.

On Instagram, she first wrote, “You supposed to submit your whole entire phone STEFON TEAM ASK TO submit the messages, not the other way around. It’s called discovery.” Soon after, she accused Griffith of lying, believing Diggs to be in the right.

She added, “he is not asking to get it dismissed. Where are you even getting that for the whole point of suing is to go to court and prove he was lying …This man did 3 interviews, change his story 2 times, and never provided NOT ONE receipt…but you right wait till trial start.”

Unfortunately, even her words didn’t help cool the situation down. According to Tag 24, Griffith, who remained steadfast in his version of events, instead implored the Grammy Award winner to open her eyes.

In a comment, Griffith wrote, “I have too much respect for Bardi (and women in general) for me to [say] anything disparaging back to her, but mama, please take off the blinders.”

It remains to be seen where the lawsuit ultimately lands and whose side is proven correct. But as the trial nears, it seems that everyone involved with the situation, in one way or another, is looking to settle the matter in court.
