Stefon Diggs’ Girlfriend Cardi B Mocks Mina Kimes, Dan Orlovsky, Other ESPN Analysts for Picking Texans Over Patriots

Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend Cardi B ridicules ESPN analysts Mina Kimes, Dan Orlovsky after Texans pick against Patriots.

Stefon Diggs joined the New England Patriots in the 2025 season, and their return to prominence was quicker than expected. The Patriots qualified for the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, beating the Houston Texans 28-16 for their first conference championship game appearance since 2018.

Cardi B Trolls Mina Kimes, Other ESPN Analysts After Patriots Top Texans To Reach AFC Championship Game

Despite their status as the No. 2 seed, not everyone expected the Patriots to coast past the Texans, who have one of the best defenses in the league. One of the analysts who picked Houston to win the game was ESPN’s Mina Kimes.

As soon as the game ended, Kimes was trolled for her pick — and the trolling came from Cardi B, the superstar hip-hop artist who is the girlfriend of wide receiver Stefon Diggs. In a video Cardi B posted on X, she screamed while celebrating the win, “What are you talking about? Nothing!” She referenced ESPN’s tweet showing all analysts picking the Texans.

Kimes, one of the analysts who picked Houston to win, joined in on the fun. She joked about the situation, saying on Twitter that “getting dunked on by Cardi B [is] an honor and a privilege.”

Cardi also had another celebratory tweet during the game. Watching closely from the sideline, she posted a photo of Diggs as the Patriots closed in on the win.

Diggs did not have a particularly impressive statistical game, but it was not entirely his fault. He finished with 4 receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown on 6 targets, as the Patriots struggled in the passing game, including three turnovers by quarterback Drake Maye. Their most productive receiver was Kayshon Boutte, who caught 3 passes for 75 yards.

Diggs earned the trust of New England with a three-year, $69 million contract signed during the offseason. He spent the 2024 season with the Houston Texans, where he suffered a serious injury midway through the campaign. He has also played for the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills during his career.

Diggs ranked highly in PFSN’s WR Impact Metric, finishing No. 4 for the season due to his immediate impact and consistency throughout the year. He earned a B+ grade with an Impact Score of 87.0; only Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and George Pickens graded higher. Diggs recorded 1,013 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2025.
