David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, made headlines earlier this month when media outlets found out that they had unfollowed their son, Brooklyn, on Instagram. The eldest son of the duo has now come out and revealed that his parents made several attempts to ruin his relationship.
Brooklyn Beckham Hits Out at Parents
Cruz Beckham came out on social media earlier this month and hit back at claims that his parents had unfollowed his elder brother. He said that Brooklyn had blocked the whole family, which was why they were no longer following each other.
Now, Brooklyn has come out with his version of the story and hit out at his parents in a series of Instagram stories. The 26-year-old has said that the Beckhams constantly tried to ruin his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
In a story, he revealed that Victoria pulled out at the eleventh hour, leaving him to make the wedding dress for his bride, forcing her to scramble for another dress before the ceremony. He believes his parents opposed the relationship and did not want the wedding to proceed.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
Brooklyn added that his parents also tried to make him sign away the rights to his name. They did not want him to make money off his name, and were adamant about his putting pen to paper before the wedding, and added:
“Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.”
Brooklyn went on to say that his family members were against Nicola, stating that she was not going to be part of the family because she was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’ on the night before the wedding. He claims that his parents have also used Cruz to attack him on social media, and they blocked him.
He has also accused the Beckhams of attacking him through the media and privately. His parents are yet to make a statement on the accusations.
