The takeover discussions have stalled following due diligence, giving others room to submit fresh bids. The legendary defender is eager to use this window to make a move and gain control of the club.
Reports from Spanish outlets suggest the initial talks valued shares at $4,000 per club share, but the consortium is now working to complete a deal at $3,200 per share. Cadena Cope reports that an offer has been made with Ramos as the majority owner, though the figures have not been disclosed.
