‘Harry Kane Is Not My Enemy’ — Ghanaian Spiritual Doctor Walks Back ‘Curse’ on England Captain at 2026 World Cup

The Ghanaian spiritual doctor who 'cursed' Harry Kane is now coming out to give his side of the story.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup was always bound to throw up new and interesting stories, but this one might be one for the ages. As England braced themselves to go up against Ghana in their second game of the tournament, a spiritual doctor from the African heavyweights took it upon himself to ensure Harry Kane would go goalless.

When the final whistle blew, England had to settle for a 0-0 draw, failing to carry forward the momentum from their 4-2 win over Croatia. Now, the man who placed the ‘curse’ on the Three Lions captain is coming forward to give his side of the story.

Ghanaian Spiritual Doctor Lifts ‘Curse’ Placed on England’s Harry Kane

Nana Kwaku Bonsam made an appearance on the UK’s LBC after the game to point out that he wasn’t messing around. However, he also said that his ‘curse’ was only for the game against Ghana, and that Kane would enjoy a fruitful run for the rest of the tournament.

When asked if he lifted the ‘curse’ on Kane, here’s what he had to say:

“Yes, I did yesterday. Harry Kane is not my enemy. I have a baby boy. I’m going to name him Harry Kane, because I love Harry Kane from a long time!

“He’s going to play very, very good the next match. You just mark my words. You’re going to say ‘What?! This man is not a human being!’”

Kane will have no option but to bring the thunder the next time the Three Lions take the pitch. Luckily, they aren’t likely to face as stubborn a defense as the Black Stars when they take on Panama in their Group L finale.

Tuchel’s England have been branded one of the league’s favorites, especially given the mettle of their manager and the abundance of resources they have at this World Cup. With Kane leading the line and midfielders like Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham ready to take charge of any game, all eyes will be on whether the Three Lions can finally deliver on their potential.

That challenge begins when they take on Panama this weekend at the New York New Jersey Stadium, where English fans are likely to serenade the team if they can deliver the goods.
