Belgium icon Eden Hazard emerged as one of the most exciting wingers in the world during his trophy-laden seven-year stint at Chelsea. And, the retired soccer star has revealed who all would be on his rendition of Mount Rushmore of former Blues players.
Eden Hazard Names Himself in Chelsea’s All-Time Mount Rushmore
During a recent interview with SPORTbible, Hazard was asked to name four Chelsea greats he would like to have on his former club’s Mount Rushmore of all-time players.
“JT, captain, the leader. Drogba, king, has to be there. Frank Lampard, top goalscorer, and myself. Good group of four, no? Not bad,” the 35-year-old Belgian responded.
Hazard, who announced his retirement in October 2023Â after departing Real Madrid, played alongside all three of the greats. Hazard shared the pitch with John Terry the most number of times (149) between 2012 and 2017. He played alongside Frank Lampard 73 times from 2012 to 2014 and Didier Drogba 36 times in the 2014-15 campaign.
During his time at the Blues between 2012 and 2019, Hazard helped his former team notch two Premier League titles in 2015 and 2017. He also won two UEFA Europa League trophies as well as an FA Cup and an EFL Cup while representing the west London side.
Overall, the former LOSC Lille winger made 352 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea before joining Real Madrid for a reported fee of $144 million in 2019. He bagged 110 goals and laid out 88 assists, operating mostly as a left inside forward, for the Blues.

Earlier this week, Raheem Sterling had his Chelsea contract terminated by mutual consent.
And, former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has suggested that Sterling should secure a Bosman move to the north London outfit in the ongoing 2025-26 season.
“I would take him at Tottenham. I think he’s a good player, better than what we’ve got. I’d sign him on a contract till the end of the season if he was willing to do that. I think he still has the desire. He’s been training on his own,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.
“Now, I’m not saying you give him a long-term deal but I’d give him a contract if he was on offer on a free. I think he’s a good player. I think he could still produce moments. I think if he got his confidence and belief back, I would have him,” he concluded.
Sterling, 31, last played in a senior club encounter while on loan at Arsenal in May 2025.
