Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike at Al-Nassr continues, and the club captain has shown no signs that he is making his return to the pitch any time soon. One TV presenter has now taken shots at the Portuguese superstar while making bold claims about the recent visit to the White House.
Cristiano Ronaldo Told To Respect the League or Leave
Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy with the preferential treatment given to Al-Hilal over the other clubs under the PIF umbrella, including his side, Al-Nassr. Reports suggest the forward is demanding that funds be allocated equally, as he believes the imbalance is affecting the league.
With the strike continuing, a TV presenter has now taken shots at the Portuguese superstar. Walid Al-Faraj has urged the forward to focus on his role at the club and not worry about the other things going on in the league.
He claimed that the Al-Nassr captain has been a disappointment since joining the league in 2022, though he has been earning more than he ever did in Europe. The presenter added that the forward should thank the Saudi officials for helping him get into the White House last year.
He believes that the Portuguese superstar was never getting invited by President Donald Trump if he was not for his move to Saudi Pro League and said:
“Cristiano Ronaldo needs to know his place. This country is called Saudi Arabia, not Ronaldo’s Arabia. He confuses being an ambassador with being a manager. He’s been a disappointment. He’s an employee, he earns a millionaire’s salary – more than he’s ever earned in Europe – and he has to respect the league, or he has to leave. We could give him 500 years and Ronaldo would never enter the White House. If he hadn’t been part of the Saudi delegation, he wouldn’t even have gotten close to the door.”

Cristiano Ronaldo, along with his fiancée Georgina Rodriguez, joined a Saudi delegation for a dinner party at the White House, organized by Trump. He also presented a signed jersey to the US President, who revealed that his son was a huge fan of the Portuguese superstar.
The Al-Nassr captain has 18 months left on his contract at the Saudi Pro League, after he penned a 2-year deal last year. He has a $59 million release clause in his contract and reports suggest clubs from Turkey are keeping tabs.
