Cristiano Ronaldo has been on strike at Al-Nassr for a week now and has no signs of ending it. He has reportedly made eight demands from the owners if he is to continue at the club. Al-Nassr results have not been affected by Ronaldo’s strike so far, with the Saudi Pro League side winning both their matches so far.
They defeated Al Riyadh 1-0 and followed it up with a 2-0 win over Al-Ittihad last week.
Cristiano Ronaldo Ready To Make Return if Conditions Are Met
It remains unclear when the club captain will return to action, but a new report from
Al Nassr Zone’s reporter, Saad, suggests the forward will be back in the matchday squad once his requests are accepted by PIF.
A key demand of the Portuguese superstar is that the powers of Chief Executive Officer José Semedo and Sporting Director Simao Coutinho are restored. He wants them to make the decisions for the club as he trusts them over the board and PIF.
Reports suggest both were pushed aside by the board during the winter window, when they made transfer suggestions. He wants the club to be run smoothly, without any interference in team selection and transfers.
A Bola reported that the salaries of several club staff were unpaid, and Ronaldo wants it cleared up before he returns to the pitch. It is unclear whether the unpaid wages apply only to staff or to players as well, but the club captain is fighting the battle for those affected.

These are Ronaldo’s requests:
Now:
• Restore authorities and ensure that what happened does not repeat.
• Provide internal financial support for the team’s success.
• Ensure no interference in the team.
•Take a firm stance against internal attacks… pic.twitter.com/p7FM67feRy

Ronaldo also has a few conditions that need to be implemented from the summer. He wants clarity on the club’s plans and to work on securing more sponsorship deals, as other clubs under the PIF umbrella have done.
The Portuguese superstar also wants Jorge Jesus to continue as the manager at the club, while Semedo and Coutinho keep their positions as the decision makers. He wants to push the club to improve on and off the pitch as they continue to search for their first major silverware since his arrival in 2022.

Al-Nassr have lost the league title to Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad in the last three seasons. This season, they won their opening 10 matches and had a good start, but have since lost their lead to Al-Hilal and are now chasing them in the table.
Ronaldo continues to train with the team, but has not been in the matchday squad for the last two league games.
