Christian Pulisic has long been regarded as the United States men’s national team’s (USMNT) best soccer player of his generation, owing to his rapid rise at Borussia Dortmund. And now, one former Manchester United star has claimed that Pulisic could be more.
So, who is the former Red Devils player, and what did he have to say about Pulisic?
Christian Pulisic Receives Advice Over His Future With Big Claim
Former Manchester United right-back Paul Parker thinks that Pulisic could surpass any other USMNT player in stature if he joins the Red Devils in the future.
Asked if Manchester United should sign Pulisic, Parker replied to GOAL, “I can see that. He is another player that went to Chelsea. When you look at him, you see someone that has got ability in one-on-ones, can go either flank, beat somewhere there, but is just as good in the middle. He moves across, and you don’t have to ask him to run.”
“Opportunity to come back to the Premier League with Manchester United… wow, he would be one of the most famous American footballers ever with that behind him on his CV. I wouldn’t put that to bed. I would try and keep that one alive for someone like that,” the 61-year-old former England international added.
Parker, who helped his former team win two Premier League titles as a player, also asserted that signing Pulisic could provide Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim with proper depth.
“Yes, you have got another forward in (Benjamin) Sesko, but there is nothing wrong with having two. The one thing about Pulisic is that he can go and do another job. He has got that bit… he can do on the wings as well. I’m happy with that one,” Parker commented.

Pulisic, who left Chelsea in 2023, has impressed one and all with his fine performances for AC Milan over the last couple of campaigns. He has contributed 41 goals and 25 assists in 113 matches across competitions for the Rossoneri so far.
AC Milan Boss Reveals Why Pulisic Was Substituted in Draw
Earlier this Saturday, December 14, Pulisic was replaced by Samuele Ricci in the 72nd minute of AC Milan’s 2-2 Serie A home draw against Sassuolo. And, Rossoneri manager Massimiliano Allegri has lifted the lid on why the USMNT star was substituted off before praising him.
“Christian had joined us in Turin after a fever and then trained. He played well for 72 minutes, but at that moment, we needed one more midfielder. Today, he played a good game, as in Turin. He was decisive for the second goal; he had a chance in the final minutes. He was very good,” Allegri said (via GOAL).
During his side’s draw against Sassuolo, Pulisic completed 23 of his 26 passes, registered a shot, created a chance, and won three of his six duels in a two-man striking setup.

Amorim is the manager at Manchester United, not Ten Hag.
