Amad Diallo Shuts Down Arsenal Fan With ‘Be Humble’ Claim After Prediction Against Manchester United Backfires

Amad Diallo has aimed a cheeky dig at Arsenal in a social media comment following Manchester United's 3-2 league win at the Gunners.

Manchester United registered a statement 3-2 Premier League win over leaders Arsenal this Sunday, Jan. 25. And, Red Devils winger Amad Diallo has jumped at the opportunity to take a dig at a Gunners fan, who had predicted a win for the north London outfit.

Manchester United Star Mocks Arsenal After 3–2 Win

Earlier this weekend, Manchester United came back from behind to record their second win under caretaker manager Michael Carrick. After Lisandro Martinez’s 29th-minute own goal, Bryan Mbeumo restored parity for the visitors eight minutes later.

Patrick Dorgu’s stunning goal put the Red Devils in lead before Mikel Merino’s equalizer in the 84th minute. However, Matheus Cunha scored in the 87th minute to hand the Gunners a rare home defeat.

Ahead of the start of the Premier League match, one Arsenal fan had confidently written on X: “Arsenal are winning 4-0, they just sent me the script.”

Diallo, however, reposted the Gunners fan’s aforementioned post with an image of the final scoreline. He also captioned his post: “Enjoy KID.”

The Gunners supporter promptly responded to Diallo, remarking on X: “Buck me in ends g, don’t tweet me ever again.”

The Manchester United winger followed the Arsenal supporter’s reply with a comment on X, which read: “Your only hope is corner. Be humble KID.”

Diallo, who turned 23 last July, started Manchester United’s win at Emirates Stadium on the right flank in a 4-2-3-1 system. He completed 20 of his 22 passes and won three of his five overall duels before being replaced by Noussair Mazraoui in the 88th minute.

Following their 3-2 away win, the Red Devils rose up to fourth place in the Premier League table. They are currently on 38 points from 23 games, 12 points behind the Gunners.

Red Devils Ace Receives Praise From Club Legend

After his former club’s recent triumph, Red Devils great Gary Neville lavished special praise on Dorgu for scoring a left-footed long shot past Gunners goalkeeper David Raya.

“Dorgu looked like such an average wing-back under (former head coach) Ruben Amorim. Further forward, he looks like a completely and utterly different player. It’s an unbelievable goal, a goal of a lifetime. What a hit, it’s a beauty,” Neville said on Sky Sports.

Dorgu, who has been starting games in an advanced role for over a month now, has netted three goals and laid out as many assists in 24 overall appearances for his team this season. He will next be in action in a home league clash against Fulham on Sunday, Feb. 1.
