Shedeur Sanders Makes Feelings Clear on Pro-Bowl Experience in Wholesome Post

After his Pro Bowl debut, Shedeur Sanders posted a heartfelt message thanking fans, teammates, and the NFL for the opportunity.

Shedeur Sanders’ Pro Bowl selection raised eyebrows because of an underwhelming regular season, but the event was never meant to be a referendum on stats alone. It is built for entertainment, and the former Colorado star showed why his relevance remains unquestioned, delivering a strong showing in the flag football game.

Sanders threw two touchdown passes and flashed the confidence that has kept him in the spotlight, even as the AFC fell short. Afterward, the Cleveland Browns quarterback shared a wholesome message thanking fans, coaches, and players for their support.

Shedeur Sanders Grateful For Pro Bowl Experience

Sanders made history at the Pro Bowl, becoming the first former HBCU quarterback to participate in the event since Steve McNair in 2005. He didn’t just show up; he delivered, throwing two touchdown passes and a successful two-point conversion.

The highlight reel featured a touchdown strike to Nico Collins and another scoring connection with Broncos offensive tackle Garrett Bolles. He also added a two-point conversion pass to Tee Higgins, helping the AFC build a commanding lead.

While he also had some tough moments, including two interceptions, Sanders brought plenty of entertainment, exactly what the NFL wanted when it invited him. At one point, he was flagged for flag guarding and quickly joked that he was just protecting his “Primes,” referring to his signature cleats.

The NFC ultimately rallied for a 66–52 win, but the final score mattered little to Sanders. After the game, he shared a heartfelt message thanking the coaches, players, and fans who supported him throughout the week.

“Thank you to all the coaches, players, and fans for allowing me to be a part of the Pro Bowl! It was an amazing experience, connecting with the guys, learning, and growing. Truly grateful for the opportunity and hoping to stay connected. Thank you, GOD 🙏🏾🔥
@NFL,” he wrote.

The Pro Bowl capped a rookie season that didn’t unfold quite as Sanders had envisioned when he declared for the draft, but one he can still take pride in. From a surprising slide on draft night to navigating a four-way quarterback competition in Cleveland, Sanders eventually went 3–4 as a starter in a year filled with adversity and growth.

During the regular season, Sanders completed 56.6% of his passes for 1,400 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, while also rushing for 169 yards and a score. He is ranked 46th in PFSN’s QB Impact metric, ahead of Dillon Gabriel and Jake Browning.

While the Browns have yet to commit to Sanders as their starter for the 2026 season, he currently enters the offseason as the frontrunner, provided Cleveland doesn’t select a quarterback in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. With the potential for a stronger supporting cast, Sanders could fully seize the job long term.
