The Tennessee Titans did not leave any crumbs in their 31-29 victory over the Cleveland Browns. However, Shedeur Sanders rose to the occasion in that loss. An impressive performance that left his dad, Deion Sanders, speechless.
Coach Prime in Awe of Shedeur Sanders’ Performance
When cameras caught Deion on the Browns’ sideline in Cleveland dropping what sounded like a rare expletive while talking to his son, Shedeur, the moment hit differently. It was a father reacting in real time to a night he could feel was about to be special.
Bundled up against the December cold, Coach Prime leaned toward Shedeur and appeared to say, “You OK? That’s some legendary s**t,” half-covering his mouth with his jacket collar. And was he wrong? Don’t think so!
The rookie quarterback went on to deliver the most explosive performance of his young career: 23-of-42 passing, 364 yards, three touchdowns through the air, another on the ground, and a 97.7 passer rating. It was the type of game that reminded everyone why he once hovered near the top of early mock drafts.
After the moment went viral, Coach Prime didn’t run from it. Instead, he turned to X and turned the attention upward. “Wow! But guess what GOD IS SO SO SO SO GOOD! We’re gonna praise him consistently with Passion & Purpose!” he wrote, in classic proud-dad fashion.
Haters: “Its just college, won’t work in the NFL”
Haters: “Its just preseason, the defense is soft”
Haters: “Its just the Titans, wait till he plays a real team”.
Shedeur Sanders does not care.

In another post, he shared a photo of Shedeur celebrating with Joel Bitonio. While the Browns’ final result wasn’t what Cleveland hoped for, a narrow 31–29 loss to the 1-11 Titans, Shedeur’s outing was historic.
He became only the second rookie quarterback in NFL history to post at least 350 passing yards, three passing TDs, and a rushing TD in the same game. The only other player to do it? Joe Burrow, back in 2020… against the Browns. That’s not bad company for a fifth-round rookie whose third career start came barely a month after he took over the job.

The big-play energy was also undeniable. Sanders ripped a 58-yard screen pass to Quinshon Judkins, dropped a 60-yard touchdown pass to Jerry Jeudy, and stacked up four completions of 50-plus yards since becoming the starter in Week 11. That’s double what any other quarterback has in that span.
The only players since 2000 with four 50-yard completions within their first three starts: Shedeur Sanders and Aaron Rodgers. One is a four-time MVP. The other is just getting warmed up.
With the Browns at 3-10, it’s hardly an ideal situation for any quarterback in the league to come under center and move the chains. Add to it the fact that their offense ranks dead last in the PFSN’s impact metrics. But Sanders has shown real composure. Even Coach Prime had to admit it: that really was some legendary stuff.
