Shedeur Sanders Shows Off Major Purchase Before First NFL Start, Explains He Doesn’t Need Deion Sanders’ ‘Account No More

Shedeur Sanders is preparing to start for the first time in the NFL, and he showed off his big purchase ahead of the game.

Shedeur Sanders was one of the most talked-about prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. Many expected the dynamic quarterback to be a first-round pick, but Sanders shockingly fell all the way to the fifth round before being selected by the Cleveland Browns.

Now, in NFL Week 12, Sanders is set to get his first start against the Las Vegas Raiders. It’s a big moment for the rookie as he has an opportunity to show the NFL what they missed out on. Ahead of the big game, the rookie showed off his recent big purchase.

Shedeur Set To Debut New Chain in Week 12

In a video recorded by Sanders’ brother Deion Sanders Jr., Shedeur showed off a new rose gold chain he purchased for his first start.

The young passer mentioned his new Nike deal and explained that he “doesn’t need” his dad’s account anymore.

“I don’t need Dad’s account no more, man,” Shedeur explained. “I got my own Nike deal. I got the rose gold Cuban now for the game chain. Whenever the time’s right, I gotta be ready.”

The rookie is no stranger to expensive jewelry. Sanders became known for flexing his luxury watch in college at Colorado, and others have even adopted the celebration.

Sanders’ father, Deion, was famous for his mantra, If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.”

Now, the rookie will have an expensive chain on while trying to lead the Browns to a victory. Sanders is in position to start because fellow rookie passer Dillon Gabriel is out with a concussion.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski hasn’t committed to Sanders for the rest of the season, but the Colorado product could secure the role with a strong performance in Week 12. The Raiders have struggled just as much as the Browns, as both teams enter this contest with a 2-8 record.

Sanders got his first taste of NFL action in Week 11 against the Ravens. It didn’t go well for the quarterback, and PFSN’s QB Impact ranking gave Sanders a 63.4 grade for his performance.

For what it’s worth, Sanders signed a four-year, $4.6 million deal as a fifth-round pick. The rookie got a signing bonus of over $400 thousand, which isn’t bad money, but nowhere close to what other quarterbacks make.

Luckily for Sanders, he’s reported to have made over $6 million in NIL deals during his time at Colorado.
