Sean McVay Is Married To Veronika Khomyn
Yes, McVay has been married to Ukrainian model and realtor Veronika Khomyn for over three years. The couple welcomed their first child in 2023 and are now expecting their second later this year.
Khomyn was born on Mar. 1, 1990, in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 2009, where she has lived ever since. She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Business from George Mason University and a master’s degree in Global Management from Arizona State University.
She began her modeling career in Ukraine before moving to the U.S., where opportunities continued to grow. Since then, she has worked with brands such as BC Clubbing and UFC Gym.
Khomyn met McVay while he was an assistant coach for the Washington Commanders from 2011 to 2013. At that time, Khomyn was a student at George Mason University.
McVay quickly advanced in his coaching career, moving from tight ends coach to offensive coordinator before earning his breakthrough role as head coach of the Rams in 2017, becoming the youngest head coach in modern NFL history. Two years later, the couple became engaged during a vacation in France.
“Can’t wait to call him my husband,” she wrote alongside a short video featuring her new fiancé leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek.
When McVay led the Rams to victory in Super Bowl LVI in 2022, Khomyn was by his side, celebrating the milestone. Following the win, she congratulated McVay on Instagram, writing:

A few months later, the couple tied the knot in a lavish Beverly Hills ceremony in June 2022, featuring a wedding cake modeled after the Vince Lombardi Trophy. They welcomed their first child, Jordan John McVay, in October 2023, with his middle name honoring McVay’s late grandfather, John McVay, a former San Francisco 49ers executive.
Earlier this offseason, McVay shared that the couple is expecting their second son, continuing their growing family. Together, they remain a supportive and inspiring presence both on and off the field.
