Seahawks Eyeing Rival Team’s Coach to Replace OC Klint Kubiak After Super Bowl-Winning Campaign

Fresh off a Super Bowl 60 win, the Seattle Seahawks are eyeing a division rival assistant to replace departing OC Klint Kubiak.

Despite winning Super Bowl 60 only a few days ago, the Seattle Seahawks will now move on without offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who has been named the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

As they look for a viable replacement, the team considers a coach from one of their rival teams.

Seattle Seahawks Interested in a Division Rival’s Offensive Coach

In PFSN’s NFL Offensive Impact Metric (OFFi) for the 2025 regular season, the Seahawks ranked as a top 10 offense under Kubiak. The team had an impact score of 79.8 and a letter grade of C+, which ranked them as the ninth-best offensive team. In only one season with Seattle, Kubiak made his mark.

Kubiak also appears in PFSN’s OFFi twice more: in 2021 and 2024. In 2021, Kubiak served as the Minnesota Vikings’ offensive coordinator. That season, they finished with an impact score of 74.9 and a letter grade of C, ranking 18th in the league.

Just one year before joining the Seahawks, he was the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints. There, he finished in PFSN’s OFFi ranked 22nd with an impact score of 69.7 and a letter grade of D+.

It’s safe to say that he gave his best to Seattle. Now, they need to fill that hole left by Kubiak’s departure. One name that came up is Arizona Cardinals pass game specialist Conner Senger. NFL Insider for NFL Network and NFL.com, Ian Rapoport, reported the following:

“The #Seahawks will interview #AZCardinals pass game specialist Conner Senger for their offensive coordinator position, source said. At 30, Senger interviewed for the #Bears OC position recently, as well as other QB coach jobs. Arizona plans to retain Senger, if possible.”

In PFSN’s OFFi, the Cardinals ranked 22nd with an impact score of 71.4 and a letter grade of C-. However, the team was pretty effective in the passing game. They had the most pass completions in the league (427), ranked first in pass attempts (649), ranked seventh in passing yards (3955), ranked seventh in passing touchdowns (29), and tied for 13th in interceptions (11).

The Seahawks have a lot of talent on offense, including Sam Darnold, Kenneth Walker, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Cooper Kupp, and Rashid Shaheed. For a coach like Senger, who will be a first-time NFL offensive coordinator, this lineup will give him a lot to work with.
