The Seattle Seahawks are back on top. They are Super Bowl champions once again. It’s going to be a long night in Seattle for fans and a very long night for the Seahawks in San Francisco. It’s celebration time, and people are giving their congratulations, including the last QB to win it for Seattle, Russell Wilson.
Wilson delivered a message to the Seattle faithful after the Seahawks triumphed in Super Bowl 60.
Russell Wilson Offers Message to Seahawks
Wilson knows what it’s like to win a Super Bowl for Seattle. He knows what it’s like to win a Super Bowl in dominant fashion, as he won against the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 48 by 35 points. His message to the Seahawks was simple, though.
“Go Hawks!” said Wilson.

Revenge is sweet. The Patriots broke the hearts of the Seahawks and their fans just 11 years ago after Malcolm Butler picked them off at the goal line to seal it for New England. Now, Seattle fans get to hold one over the Patriots.
The Seahawks are adding their second Lombardi trophy to their trophy cabinet. Wilson is responsible for the first trophy, and now Sam Darnold is quarterbacking Seattle to their second. Although a lot of credit belongs to the defense, Darnold did everything he was asked to do on his way to winning the ring.
Seattle was remarkable in Super Bowl 60. From the start, they had the lead and never gave it up. During the third quarter, it felt like the Patriots might become the first team to be shut out in the Super Bowl.
Eventually, they were found out and allowed a quick score in the fourth quarter. But the third-ranked defense in PFSN’s NFL Defense Impact Metric came up with the big stops, an interception, and then a pick-six.
Dominance was the story of the postseason for the Seahawks. They dismantled the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, pulled out a close win against their rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, and then had the wire-to-wire victory over the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. Seattle became the first team to win it all without turning the ball over a single time in the playoffs.
Wilson and Darnold stand alone as the two QBs who have gotten it done for Seattle. If fans expected Darnold to be a Super Bowl champion five years ago, they’d likely be told they’re crazy. Now, he’s etched in football history forever, and no one can take that away from him.
