Earlier today, the Baltimore Ravens made two moves to add players to their quarterback room. They agreed to a three-year deal with former UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano, as well as Vanderbilt’s Heisman runner-up Diego Pavia.
Here’s a look at how the team’s quarterback room shapes up alongside veterans Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.
QB1 | Lamar Jackson
Was there even any doubt?
Jackson was drafted by the team out of Louisville with the 32nd overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Since then, he’s been a three-time All-Pro, four-time Pro Bowler, and a two-time AP Most Valuable Player.
Across eight seasons with the team, Jackson has completed 64.8% of passes for 22,608 passing yards, 187 passing touchdowns, and 56 interceptions.
Just as good as his throwing is his running, if not better. Across the same time span, he’s rushed 1,081 times for 6,522 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns.
Last year was a down year for Jackson, mainly due to injuries that limited him to just 13 games. In PFSN’s NFL Quarterback Impact Metric, he ranked 12th with an impact score of 79.4 and a letter grade of C+.
QB2 | Tyler Huntley
Huntley has basically spent his entire six-year career with the Ravens, except for the 2024 season, when he joined the Miami Dolphins. Being a veteran and familiar with the Ravens, Huntley will undoubtedly be the backup quarterback barring any move or injury.
Over six seasons, Huntley has played in 30 games and started 16. With that playing time, he’s completed 66.2% of his throws for 3,212 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. As a runner, he’s rushed 165 times for 795 yards and 5 touchdowns.
He was even named to the Pro Bowl during the 2022 NFL season as an alternate.
QB3 | Joe Fagnano
During the 2025 college football season, Fagnano ranked as the 16th-best quarterback in PFSN’s College Football Quarterback Impact Metric (CFB QBi) with an impact score of 86.6 and a letter grade of B.
In 2025, he completed 69.0% of his passes for 3,448 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and just 1 interception. He wasn’t considered a dual-threat quarterback for most of his collegiate career, but in 2025, he rushed 47 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

He was signed to the team on a three-year deal earlier today.
QB4 | Diego Pavia
Even though he didn’t win the Heisman Trophy, Pavia ranked as the best quarterback in college football by PFSN’s CFB QBi. He finished ranked ahead of Fernando Mendoza at number one with an impact score of 94.8 and a letter grade of A.
In 13 games, Pavia completed 70.6% of his passes for 3,539 passing yards and 29 touchdowns while only throwing 8 interceptions. As a runner, he rushed for 862 yards and 10 touchdowns on a staggering 167 attempts.

He was the second quarterback the Ravens added today, after Fagnano.

Barring anything different, Jackson will be the starter with Huntley backing him up. Then, it’ll be a competition between Fagnano and Pavia to see who wins the third-string job and so on.
