Rashod Bateman Injury Update: What’s the Latest on the Ravens WR, and Will He Play in Week 11?

Rashod Bateman has been a constant for the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in every game of the 2025 NFL season. That perfect record is now in jeopardy. After the team’s latest victory against the Minnesota Vikings, the wide receiver was spotted in a walking boot, raising immediate questions about his status for a crucial Week 11 matchup.

With a sprained ankle threatening to sideline him, all eyes are on his recovery.

Rashod Bateman Injury Update and Status for Week 11

Bateman reportedly suffered a sprained ankle during the Ravens’ Week 10 game against the Vikings. While he managed to finish the contest, he was seen in a walking boot afterward. Head coach John Harbaugh provided an update on the situation, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “I think he’s going to be OK. We’ll see how serious it is going forward,” said Harbaugh.

While the update sounds encouraging for his long-term availability, his status for the Week 11 game against the Cleveland Browns appears to be in question. The walking boot may have been a precaution, and his ability to finish last week’s game creates optimism that he might avoid missing any time. His participation level in practice throughout the week will be a key indicator of his availability for the upcoming contest.

The Ravens are rolling right now, having won their past three games, and Bateman has contributed five receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown during this winning streak. He serves as the secondary wide receiver for quarterback Lamar Jackson, playing behind Zay Flowers in the passing game. Flowers has been excellent this year, currently ranking 10th on PFSN’s Impact Rankings through ten weeks, while Bateman comes in at 72nd.

His complementary role is a product of Baltimore’s run-first offensive philosophy and its tendency to feature tight ends in the passing attack. Derrick Henry is one of the busiest running backs in the NFL, and Jackson also uses his legs as a primary weapon. Additionally, Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely form one of the best tight end pairings in the league, which means Bateman does not always see consistent targets.

However, he has made his opportunities count, totaling 61 receptions for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in 26 games since the start of the 2024-25 season. He will look to continue being a reliable contributor in Week 11, but first, he must overcome his sprained ankle.
