Rams Predicted to Draft 24-TD WR to Bolster Receiver Room and Land Davante Adams’ Successor

Los Angeles Rams predicted to draft Jordyn Tyson as a potential successor to Davante Adams in latest 2026 NFL mock drafts.

The Los Angeles Rams could be forgiven for thinking they were covered when it comes to pass-catching talent, but that hasn’t stopped them from being linked to receivers recently. The most notable of all the wide receivers being linked with the team is Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown, who is again the subject of intense trade speculation.

Elsewhere, the Rams are being paired with several receiver prospects in the upcoming NFL Draft, despite already boasting one of the best pass-catching duos in the NFL. That’s the case in the latest three-round NFL Mock Draft from PFSN’s Ryan Moran, who has the NFC West outfit making a splash in Round 1.

Almost any team in the NFL would trade its receiver room for what Los Angeles has in Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Nacua has been a top wide receiver since entering the league as a fifth-round pick in 2023, while Adams is likely headed for the Hall of Fame.

But when you are as agonizingly close to a Super Bowl as the Rams are, there is always room for more talent. In Moran’s three-round mock, head coach Sean McVay’s team selects Arizona State receiver Jordyn Tyson with the 13th overall pick.

Los Angeles Selects Top Receiver Prospect in Latest PFSN Mock Draft

“After addressing their secondary in free agency, the Los Angeles Rams can now draft that pass catcher they covet. Jordyn Tyson is the best one available. He is a tall and explosive presence who can line up in the slot or out wide.

“Tyson can separate as a route runner with his quickness. At the catch point, Tyson has elite body control, strong hands, and terrific ball skills, making incredible catches. He can make plays all over the field on all three levels.”

PFSN Draft Expert Backs Rams To Draft Jordyn Tyson

It’s not just Moran who can see Tyson ending up on the West Coast. PFSN draft expert Ian Cummings also made the Tyson-Rams connection in his most recent seven-round Mock Draft. Not only does Cummings see Tyson’s immediate value to the Rams, but he also notes his potential to step into the team’s WR2 role when Adams eventually moves on.

“Medicals may push Jordyn Tyson down the board, but at a certain point, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound pass catcher is too talented to pass up if there are no degenerative issues. The Los Angeles Rams scoop him up here in this 2026 NFL Mock Draft.

“For the Rams, Tyson is an extremely over-qualified WR3 in the immediate timeline. Over the long term, he can be a quality successor to wide receiver Davante Adams with his size, explosion, twitch, RAC ability, and glowing three-level threat profile.”

The Rams’ biggest need this offseason was at cornerback, but after adding former Kansas City Chiefs pair Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie, they can now look elsewhere. Tyson is an immediate separator with X-receiver size, who tallied 24 total touchdowns in 33 college games over four years.

Injuries have been an issue, but no one plays football unscathed, and the Rams have plenty of depth to take a shot on Tyson’s immense talent and potential.
