The Los Angeles Rams could be looking to bolster an already top-heavy unit of wide receivers in next month’s draft.
There are already enough mouths to feed between Puka Nacua and Davante Adams atop the depth chart, but Clemson wide receiver Antonio Williams would be an intriguing addition that could elevate this offense to the next level.
Clemson’s Antonio Williams to the Rams in Latest Mock Draft
In the three-round mock draft published by PFSN’s own Jacob Infante, the Rams, who originally owned two first-round picks, targeted the offense. They spent the No. 13 overall selection on Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, while the No. 29 pick was sent to the Kansas City Chiefs for cornerback Trent McDuffie earlier this offseason.
At No. 61, the Rams bring aboard Williams, who is widely perceived as one of the top wideouts in the draft. Having him fall into the Rams’ laps that late into the second round would be tremendous value for general manager Les Snead.
“He may not have had the WR1-type season some expected from him, given his pre-draft hype, but Antonio Williams is still one of the best wide receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft,” Infante wrote. “He’s a crafty route runner with good explosion out of his breaks, consistently creating separation.”
Nacua is going to be around in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future, but Adams is entering a season in which he will turn 34 years old. However, he has yet to truly show any signs of slowing down; he played in 14 games last year and caught 60 passes for 789 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns. Even so, the Rams have to keep the future in perspective. Adams may not be in the mix for much longer.
Williams is arguably a top-50 prospect off raw talent alone. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound wide receiver has one of the most natural, well-rounded separation profiles of any prospect on the circuit. He’s a hyperactive mover with elite foot speed and corrective twitch, effervescent recalibration athleticism, acute angle freedom on route breaks, and seamless acceleration out of sharp transitions.

The real knock on Williams is his consistent injury history, which has repeatedly forced him to miss time. He was limited to just five games during his sophomore campaign due to injuries. He rebounded in 2024, catching 75 passes for 904 yards and 11 touchdowns. However, the following season, he sustained a hamstring injury in the opener that caused him to miss time early in the year. He played 10 games, finishing with 55 catches for 604 yards and four touchdowns.
The concerns about Williams’ durability could be enough for him to fall off several teams’ radars and slide in the draft.
