The Las Vegas Raiders are having an extremely disappointing 2025 NFL season, but one of their star players is on the verge of making history. The All-Pro has a rare opportunity to join an exclusive club during their Week 18 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This gives their fans something intriguing to root for as their disastrous year comes to a close.
Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro Chasing History in Week 18
The Raiders’ 2025 season was a miserable one, as they had the worst record of any team in the NFL entering the final week of the year. The silver lining will be a premium pick, potentially the first-overall selection, in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
Before they officially enter the offseason and begin to address their long list of issues, Las Vegas will conclude their campaign against the Chiefs, who are also eliminated from playoff contention. While the game will have no postseason implications, it could be a milestone moment for former second-team All-Pro linebacker Devin White.
He is currently in his first season with the Raiders and has incredibly played in every one of their defensive snaps this year. If he completes this trend in Week 18 against the Chiefs, he will become just the third linebacker since the 2019 season to exceed 1,000 snaps in a season, while also playing in 100% on his team’s defensive snaps.
He is already up to 1,010 snaps this season, so he just needs to be on the field for all of their defensive snaps to join this exclusive club. He has already done so in their other 16 games so far, so he should be expected to do so again as long as he doesn’t suffer any type of injury or other setback during the course of the game.
Zaire Franklin is the most recent linebacker to accomplish this incredible achievement, and he did so last year with the Indianapolis Colts. Bobby Okereke also completed this task in the season before with the New York Giants. White is looking to join them as one of the few bright spots for the Raiders this season.
White also enters Week 18 with an 86.8 score in PFSN’s Impact Rankings, the 14th best among all linebackers this year. Okereke scored a 91.1 and finished fifth in 2023, while Franklin posted a 89 and finished in third last season. White has one more game to improve his season-long scor,e potentially, but even if he doesn’t, playing in every snap against the Chiefs will create a historic moment for him.
