The Los Angeles Rams are in a good position to take down a potential playoff foe in the Detroit Lions. With a two-touchdown lead with under five minutes to play in the game, it should be a Los Angeles victory and put the Rams in position for the top seed out in the NFC. The problem is that their star WR Puka Nacua left the game late in the fourth quarter.
What Happened to Puka Nacua?
Nacua was on the ground right before the Rams punched in a touchdown to get over 40 points on the day. After already losing Davante Adams, the Rams couldn’t afford to lose Nacua. Luckily, the broadcast reported that it is just cramps for Nacua.

This has been an absolute bloodbath of a week. It’s impossible even to keep track of all the players who got hurt.
The Rams are already down Davante Adams. If they lose Nacua, Matthew Stafford will be throwing to practice-squad-level players on a team that is poised to win the Super Bowl.
Fantasy managers can chase Tutu Atwell or Jordan Whittington if they want. But we’ve seen Konata Mumpfield get involved, as well as the tight ends. Colby Parkinson appears to be the primary beneficiary. He would be the preferred add over any wide receiver.
Nacua returned to the game for the final drive of the game. A sigh of relief for Rams fans that were already reeling from the loss of Adams. Nacua’s return is massive because the Rams have a short week coming up against the Seahawks, who they are battling with for the division and the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Fans shouldn’t expect Adams to suit up, because Los Angeles clinched the playoffs and his postseason health is crucial.
Nacua had nine catches for 181 yards against the Lions. Detroit got torched flat out and Nacua was a huge reason for that. The Rams offense continues to roll behind MVP-candidate Matthew Stafford and Nacua, the second-best WR in PFSN’s WR Impact score with a grade of 96.9.
The Rams are in business. They’ll need to be up for the task on Thursday against the Seahawks. A win on Thursday is pivotal because otherwise the Seahawks will take control of the division and the 49ers will be on their tail, too. It doesn’t get easier for Los Angeles, but at least they’re in and Nacua is healthy.
