From Tom Brady to Drake Maye, the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl history spans eras and elite quarterbacks. Brady led one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history, winning championships at a historic rate, while Maye now has the opportunity to lead New England at the sport’s biggest stage at Super Bowl 60, in the post-Brady era.

Full list of all Patriots Super Bowl Wins
Here is the complete list of New England’s six Super Bowl victories by season and opponent:
- Super Bowl 36: vs. St. Louis Rams (2001)
- Super Bowl 38: vs. Carolina Panthers (2003)
- Super Bowl 39: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (2004)
- Super Bowl 49: vs. Seattle Seahawks (2014)
- Super Bowl 51: vs. Atlanta Falcons (2016)
- Super Bowl 53: vs. Los Angeles Rams (2018)
Their most recent title came in Super Bowl 53, a 13–3 win over the Rams, which is currently the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in NFL history. The Super Bowl 51 win against the Falcons also saw the Patriots erase a 28-3 deficit to win in overtime — the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.
According to PFSN’s QB Impact Rating, Brady’s best season as a quarterback was 2007, when he posted a 98.0 rating and an A+ grade. That remains the second-highest single-season score recorded since the metric began in 2000, behind only Peyton Manning’s 98.5 rating in 2004.
Interestingly, despite Brady’s standout performance in 2007, the Patriots did not win the Super Bowl that season.
Maye, who will be hoping to follow in Brady’s footsteps in New England, recorded a 91.1 QB Impact Rating in 2025, which ranks as the 26th-best season overall under the PFSN grading system.
If Maye manages to guide the Patriots to a seventh title, he will become the youngest starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl at 23 years and 162 days old. Brady won his first Lombardi Trophy in 2001 when he was 24 years old.
