Few couples in the NFL are as well-known as Mahomes and his wife, and even fewer have been together for as long. The Chiefs QB and the former University of Texas at Tyler soccer player have been a couple since their high school days in Whitehouse, Texas, long before either of them entered college.
On Instagram, Brittany shared a family photo shoot featuring Mahomes and their children in every shot, along with a heartfelt caption expressing her love and admiration for him:
“Happy Father’s Day to our rock! The most incredible, loyal most fun dad everrrrrr! The way you love us is unmatched! You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you,” Brittany wrote.
Mahomes proposed to Brittany just days after winning Super Bowl 54 against the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. The couple officially tied the knot in 2022, after welcoming their first child, Sterling, in 2021. She was later joined by her siblings, Bronze and Golden.
Their youngest daughter was born in January of this year, just one month before Mahomes reached the Super Bowl for the fifth time in his career. The couple announced Golden’s birth on Instagram with a black-and-white photo showing the baby’s feet for the very first time.
Father’s Day has become an especially meaningful date for the couple, not just to celebrate the family they’ve built but also the journey they’ve shared from high school sweethearts to one of the most famous families in sports.
On multiple occasions, Mahomes has expressed his gratitude for his wife, sharing how her loving and supportive presence gives him the confidence and stability to perform at the highest level and chase his professional goals.
