Team USA trio Alex Hall, Mac Forehand, and Konnor Ralph made waves in the men’s freestyle skiing slopestyle event. Hall won the silver medal, while Ralph finished ninth, and Forehand came in ninth place for the American team.
This marked Hall’s second successive medal at the Winter Olympics, following gold at the 2022 Beijing Games in the same event. While Ralph and Forehand narrowly missed a medal in slopestyle, they showed their incredible talent throughout the event.
Who Is Alex Hall?
Hall is regarded as one of the world’s most talented freestyle skiers. The 27-year-old has been competing professionally since the age of 17. Hall made his Olympic debut at the 2018 Games and has accumulated two World Cup Globes and 16 podium finishes over the years. In addition, Hall is also a seven-time Winter X Games medalist.
Born in Alaska, Hall moved to Switzerland at an early age. His enthusiasm for winter sports grew by attending Zurich’s annual freestyle.ch ski event with his snowboarder brother, Aldo.
After returning to the United States in Park City, Utah, Hall started competing at the FIS World Cup level before finishing second in slopestyle at the 2016 Lillehammer Youth Olympics.
In addition to his skiing exploits, Hall also played basketball in school and was part of a Zurich-based soccer team’s youth team. He also has a passion for filming his stunts on the street and in the backcountry.
Who Is Konnor Ralph?
Ralph, a 23-year-old free skier, has also been making waves on the circuit. He started skiing at the age of two, as his parents were very passionate about it.
The Montana native honed his skills in park skiing at Great Divide before making his FIS World Cup debut. He won his first career podium in March 2024, before earning a second-place finish in big air in December 2025.
In addition to his skiing exploits, Ralph is also an avid surfer, golfer, and big NFL fan.
Who Is Mac Forehand?
Forehand also started skiing at a very young age, learning from his sister, Savannah. Later, he took up park skiing and is currently ranked ninth in the FIS World Cup standings.
The 24-year-old Connecticut native has won numerous accolades at the X Games, including two gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. In addition, he also won silver in slopestyle at the 2025 World Championships.

Off the slopes, Forehand enjoys biking, surfing, and all things outdoors. He also helps raise money for cancer research and loves learning about World War II.
