Nebraska Volleyball's Rebekah Allick announces her new career shift to LOVB Madison after NCAA Elite Eight heartbreak.

Rebekah Allick announced her next career step after Nebraska Volleyball as she heads to pursue a professional career with LOVB Madison. The middle blocker, who served as team captain alongside Andi Jackson, contributed to the Huskers’ perfect season before exiting the NCAA Tournament in the Regional Finals.

Allick’s  .450 hitting percentage was No. 4 in the country in the 2025 season and the fourth-ranked single-season mark in Nebraska history.

Nebraska Volleyball’s Rebekah Allick Set To Pursue Her Professional Career in LOVB

Allick was a driving force in the 2025 season, much like her co-skipper Andi Jackson. She and the latter kicked off the NCAA Tournament with 10 kills each, leading the team to victory against Long Island University. She continued her momentum in the following round and etched her name in the history book with her performance in the Regional Semifinals.

In the match-up against Kansas, Nebraska Volleyball’s 6-foot-4 middle blocker had a perfect hitting percentage of 1.000, marking the second time in her career that she reached the milestone. In the Elite Eight, the Lincoln native finished with a career-high 15 kills and extended her kills tally in the NCAA Tournament to 40.

After the Big Reds’ exit from the title contention, Allick shared a career update on her Instagram handle as she gears up to join LOVB Madison in the coming season, kick-starting her professional career. She wrote:

“Let’s do this @lovbmad. Excitement is an understatement. Thank you LOVB for this opportunity. And as for Husker Nation, find me in Madison.”

Rebekah Allick Expressed Gratitude to Her Fellow Cornhuskers After an Emotional Press Conference

Nebraska Volleyball’s Allick and her team were heading toward a unique achievement, winning the national title after posting a perfect season, but fate did not favor them.

Allick helped her team capture its third straight Big Ten title this season and consistently put her best foot forward, but ultimately drew the curtain on her collegiate career after another near miss.

In a post-match press conference, the middle blocker was unable to control her emotions as her teammate, Harper Murray, consoled her.

Following the media interaction, Allick expressed her gratitude to those who supported her during her time at Nebraska and spoke about how she has always been driven by faith, considering herself a child of God before an athlete. Allick was a part of the Nebraska team that reached the finals in 2023 and the semifinals in 2024.
