Maisie Boesiger’s Dad Cherishes Her Final Season for Nebraska Volleyball Through His Lens

Nebraska Volleyball player Maisie Boesiger had special support in the stands as her father attended her recent game. Boesiger’s side recently clinched a victory against the Indiana volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 at Wilkinson Hall. This victory gave her squad the 2025 Big Ten Championships title under head coach Dani Busboom Kelly.

Boesiger has been quite successful in her Nebraska Cornhuskers career, winning several conference championship titles, as well as racking up individual laurels, such as membership in the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.

Boesiger has shed light on her relationship with her father several times in the past, with the most recent one being the latter’s birthday earlier in the year. To cherish this bond, Boesiger’s father recently attended the volleyball arena to watch her play in her final season for Nebraska.

A X handle shared a video showing Boesiger’s father, Chris, filming all he could of Boesiger during a recent match from the stands. “Maisie Boesiger’s dad Chris is making sure to capture Maisie’s senior season at Nebraska. 🥹❤️,” the caption of the post read.

Notably, Boesiger’s sister is also a volleyball player, and the former also showed support by attending the latter’s Class B State Championships.

Boesiger Explains Her Expertise Outside of the Volleyball Court

Besides playing collegiate volleyball for the Nebraska Huskers, Boesiger has several other endeavors. She is currently pursuing a degree in public relations and advertising at the University of Nebraska, but in her free time, she enjoys seeing herself as a baker.

“I’m a baker, I’m a very good baker. I love to bake cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, everything. I used to do a lot more, but now, I am just kind of here and there,” Boesiger said while reflecting on her hobbies outside of volleyball.

Boesiger further explained that she loves spending time at her home with her family members and pet. She said, “Probably at home, I live 30 minutes from here, so I love to go home, see my family and my dogs, and just kind of relax for a day.”

Across her Nebraska career, Boesiger hasn’t gotten many opportunities in the libero position for her team. She has played only 68 matches across her tenure, while racking up 46 digs and six assists.
