As the Washington Commanders inch toward their Week 13 matchup against the Denver Broncos, fans are wondering which injured players might return on Sunday. Here’s a quick look at wide receiver Noah Brown’s injury status and whether he’ll be able to help his team this week.

Will Noah Brown Play the Week 13 Game Against the Broncos?
Both the Commanders and Noah Brown had a remarkable start to the season, opening with an impressive 21-6 victory over the New York Giants, with Brown making a big contribution.
However, things went downhill as the weeks passed. In their second game against the Green Bay Packers, the Commanders not only suffered a loss, but Brown also sustained a groin injury that forced him to leave the game in the fourth quarter.
At first, the injury didn’t seem serious enough to keep him out this long. Yet here fans are in Week 13, wondering if the 29-year-old receiver will finally return to the field this Sunday, or if the wait will continue.
This week did bring some positive news as Brown’s 21-day practice window officially opened, allowing the team to analyse his performance and decide whether to reinstate him to the active roster.
Brown was limited on Wednesday and a full participant on Thursday, giving fans hope. However, he did not practice on Friday, and now the Commanders have officially ruled him out for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.
A disappointing update indeed. Fans will now have to wait at least another week to see if the Commanders bring him back on Dec. 7 when they face the Minnesota Vikings.
Commanders–Broncos Game Preview
The Commanders (3-8) will face the Broncos (9-2) this Sunday, Nov. 30, at Northwest Stadium. Fans can tune in on NBC/Peacock at 8:20 PM to enjoy the game live.
The Broncos clearly look like the stronger team this season, with the numbers proving it. While they seem to be one of the strongest contenders for the postseason, the Commanders seem well out of the playoff picture. If Brown were available, he could have provided a needed boost to the Commanders’ offense.
Heading into this matchup, Washington’s offense will need all the help it can get, especially since it’s facing one of the best defenses in the league. Denver’s defense currently ranks No. 1 on PFSN’s Defense Impact with a 93.1 score. Still, it will be interesting to see if the Commanders can pull off an upset or if the Broncos will further strengthen their position.
