The Buffalo Bills vs. the Philadelphia Eagles matchup, which ended in a 13-12 on Sunday, was viewed as a preview of Super Bowl LX. And the celebration on the Eagles’ sideline was meaningful.
But after everyone in the Eagles squad was celebrating the win and heading towards the locker room, head coach Nick Sirianni called out Bills fans, which A.J. Brown couldn’t ignore.
A Moment Between Coach Nick Sirianni and Star Receiver Raised Eyebrows
As Sirianni and Brown headed into the tunnel toward the locker room after the game was over, the Eagles’ head coach could be heard shouting. “What am I talking about in Buffalo, man? I don’t have no money anymore. Not so much anymore. Love this sh-t,” Sirianni said.
Buffalo is one of the loudest, most hostile road environments in the NFL, and Sirianni had been hearing it all game. After a frustrating offensive performance and constant crowd chirping, he snapped back out of emotion.
But shortly after, Brown turned toward Sirianni and gave him a firm, expressionless stare. There was no smile or visible reaction, just a lingering look that caught attention. The moment came following a difficult offensive performance by the Eagles against the Bills, making the interaction stand out even more.
The Bills couldn’t score more than 12 points against Vic Fangio and Nick Sirianni’s tough defensive squad. This is Buffalo’s lowest score of the season. Also, Josh Allen’s comeback magic did not work this time. The Bills’ QB was also visibly upset after their two-point conversion failed, which forced Philadelphia’s victory.

However, on the other hand, the Eagles’ offense struggled in this game as well. They gained only 190 total yards and converted just 3 of 13 third downs. And that is what Brown is not tolerating since this season started.
When Brown was not getting targeted more, he expressed his frustration. But the star wideout also added a critical comment on the team’s offense: “I think if we’re really focused on winning and doing our job, we can’t just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense?”
And the Bills game was not different from the Eagles’ previous games, where the offense was not producing up to the mark. Philadelphia’s offense failed to score after halftime and has struggled to find rhythm for much of the season. In Sunday’s clash, Brown caught five throws for 68 yards and did not score a touchdown.
However, the Eagles remain competitive because their defense consistently delivers elite-level performances, keeping games close and covering for offensive shortcomings. The PFSN’s defensive impact ranks the Eagles’ D at 7th.
The Eagles head into their regular-season finale with plenty at stake, looking to clean up offensive inconsistencies and build momentum. The Eagles’ regular-season finale (Week 18) is against the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
With playoff positioning on the line, Philadelphia will aim for a complete performance, relying on its defense while searching for sharper execution from the offense before the postseason begins.
