What Time Is Canada vs. Czechia? Men’s Hockey QF Lines and Live Stream Details

Team Canada vs. Team Czechia: Time, projected lines, preview and how to watch the Olympic men’s hockey quarterfinal live.

The knockout stage has arrived at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina. And one of Wednesday’s most anticipated matchups features Canada taking on Czechia in the men’s hockey quarterfinals.

The puck drops at 10:40 a.m. ET on Feb. 18 at Santaguilia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan. It’s the second of four quarterfinal games on the day, with semifinal spots on the line.

Canada vs. Czechia Preview

Canada enters the quarterfinals as the top seed after a perfect 3-0-0 run in group play. That strong showing earned them a direct bye into the quarters.

Czechia, meanwhile, punched its ticket with a qualifying-round win over Denmark on Tuesday, setting up a rematch with the Canadians.

The two teams met just six days ago in their Group A opener, a game Canada controlled from start to finish, winning 5-0. But as history shows, the knockout round is a different animal.

Canada’s offense has been electric throughout the tournament. Connor McDavid leads the way with nine points in three games, tallying two goals and seven assists. Macklin Celebrini has added four goals and six total points, while Sidney Crosby has contributed seven points of his own. In goal, Jordan Binnington has been rock solid.

Czechia, meanwhile, will rely heavily on its top NHL talent. Martin Nečas has produced seven points so far, and David Pastrňák remains their most dangerous offensive weapon. In the net, Lukáš Dostál has the ability to change a game single-handedly if he gets into a groove.
