After Aaron Donald stepped away from football in 2024, NFL offenses could finally rejoice as one of the most dominant defensive linemen ever was no longer among their worries. Now, he’s back, and he’s got reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett rushing the quarterback alongside him.
Donald’s wife, Erica Donald, revealed why he came back with a humorous message to the NFL world.

Since his retirement, Donald has stayed in shape and has often been seen lifting impressive weights. Now he will get to put that to use after his wife has supported his decision to return for the Los Angeles Rams.

Teams around the league were hoping that Erica would have kept Aaron in the house. But she didn’t, and the NFL world went wild in response to Erica’s post.

Aaron finally broke free from his wife, who kept him at home. After teasing a return for a while, he is ready to wreck opposing offensive lines alongside Garrett.
Aaron worked out with the Rams twice in the offseason to stir up some noise, and eventually Erica let him rejoin Sean McVay and the Rams.

Aaron may have just reset his Hall of Fame clock by returning, but he might very well be able to add some more accolades to his resume.
