Round 1, No. 5: Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

  • One of the best CBs in the country
  • A big-time play waiting to happen on defense
  • Lockdown in man coverage
  • Excellent at reading the QB in zone coverage
  • A rare talent that is great in both man and zone
  • Can be used on blitzes as well

Rated as the best CB in CFB this season according to PFSN’s CFB CB Impact Metric.

Round 2, No. 36: T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson

  • OLB/DE flexibility
  • Dominant use of power
  • Wins in a multitude of ways against opposing offensive linemen
  • Great run defender
  • Was projected to be a top 5 pick before the season

In 2024, looking at PFSN’s EDGE Impact Metric, Parker was ranked #14th overall amongst EDGEs last season, but this season, he is ranked #49th.

Round 3, No. 72: Elijah Sarratt, WR, Indiana

  • Contested catch threat
  • Excellent Ability to get open
  • A clutch WR that can make plays whenever needed
  • Any QB’s best friend on the field

5th most receiving touchdowns among all WRs per PFSN’s CFB WR Impact Metric.

Round 4, No. 129: Jaeden Roberts, OG, Alabama

  • Excels in run blocking
  • Uses strength to bulldoze defensive linemen
  • He would fit HC Kellen Moore’s scheme really well
  • Has been injured for much of the season

Round 4, No. 137: Clev Lubin, EDGE, Louisville

  • A dangerous burst of speed that can catch QBs by surprise
  • He does not stop moving
  • Has a number of pass-rush moves to rely upon

Lubin has 18 QB hits on the season, which ranks him 12th overall in PFSN’s CFB EDGE Impact Metric.

Round 5, No. 146: Dontay Corleone, DT, Cincinnati

  • Could be the Saints’ future at NT
  • Impressive run defender
  • Great burst of speed
  • A projected Day 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but went back to school
  • Injury issues throughout his career, and a massive fall off in production this season

According to PFSN’s CFB DT Impact Metric, Corleone ranks 314th among all DTs this season (was 93rd last season).

Round 5, No. 169: Robert Henry Jr., RB, UTSA

  • Very patient in the backfield to pick the perfect place to run
  • The definition of a homerun threat on offense
  • Extremely fast with an exceptional burst of speed
  • Very elusive with a nasty change of direction

Looking at PFSN’s CFB RB Impact Metric, Henry ranks 11th in yards per rush among all RBs this season.

Round 6, No. 183: VJ Payne, SAF, Kansas State

  • Big and powerful safety
  • Aggressive tackler
  • Great depth at safety for the Saints
