The Green Bay Packers are back in the playoffs for the third consecutive season and for the sixth time in the last seven years. The Packers will play their division rival, the Chicago Bears, in the wild-card round of the postseason on Jan. 10.
However, as Green Bay prepares for its playoff game, the NFL released the Packers’ opponents for the 2026 NFL season.
Who Are the Packers’ 2026 Opponents?
Each year, teams’ opponents are determined by their division and their standing within the division.
Despite an impressive 11-6 record last season, the Packers finished third in the NFC North. That meant Green Bay played all the third-place teams from other divisions. This season, the Packers posted a 9-7-1 record in the regular season but finished second in the NFC North, so they will play the other second-place finishers.
On Monday morning, the NFL released the Packers’ home and away opponents. Dates and times will be revealed at a later date.

With the NFL’s 17-game schedule, there is an odd number of games each season. The Packers played nine road games this year, so they will play nine home games next season.
Green Bay will play the Bears, Lions, and Vikings once at home and once on the road, as usual. The Packers will also face the entire AFC East and NFC South divisions, as will the rest of the NFC North.
After that, Green Bay’s remaining three games consist of two second-place teams from the NFC, the Rams and the Cowboys, and the AFC South’s second-place team, the Texans.
The Packers have only two common opponents from their 2025 schedule on their 2026 slate outside of NFC North play.
Green Bay played the Panthers and the Cowboys this season and will face both again in 2026. The Packers lost 16-13 to the Panthers on Nov. 2 and tied the Cowboys 40-40 on Sept. 28.
The Packers’ 2026 schedule features several marquee road matchups, including games against the Patriots and Rams. The Patriots are currently the No. 2 seed in the AFC, while the Rams appear to be Super Bowl contenders.
Green Bay will also host several entertaining games at Lambeau Field, with the Texans, Cowboys, and Bills all scheduled to visit in 2026.
The Packers will face five of the nine teams with the highest Super Bowl odds this season, according to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Meter.
For now, however, Green Bay remains focused on the conclusion of the 2025 season as the playoffs get underway in January 2026.
The Packers will face the Bears for the third time this season in the wild-card round, and the winner will advance to face either the Philadelphia Eagles or the Rams in the divisional round.
