The Green Bay Packers had their first true day of practice this week ahead of arguably their biggest game of the season Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

The Packers released their Wednesday injury report, which includes updates on key players ahead of Sunday’s matchup.

  • WR Savion Williams (Foot) – Did Not Practice
  • DL Devonte Wyatt (Ankle) – Did Not Practice

Cox, Oliver, Lloyd, and Reed are all coming off injured reserve and are in their 21-day practice window. Another limited practice for Reed is a good sign for his availability Sunday.

Lloyd had a strong training camp before suffering the calf injury that has kept him out all season. His return would give the Packers more depth in the backfield with Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson behind Josh Jacobs.

Golden, Walker, Brooks, and Hobbs were all limited participants after missing the Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

Brooks will likely have the opportunity for an increased role when healthy, with Wyatt’s season-ending injury. The Packers also signed defensive lineman Jordon Riley off the Giants’ practice squad on Wednesday.

Walker’s neck injury has been a stinger, and his limited practice on Wednesday is a positive sign for his potential availability on Sunday.

The Packers linebacker is ranked No. 15 in the NFL among all linebackers, according to PFSN’s LB Impact, and has two top-10 weeks and four top-15 weeks.

Van Ness and Williams did not practice on Wednesday. Van Ness missed Weeks 7-11 and attempted to play in Week 12. He did not last long before leaving the game and also missed Week 13. He has been dealing with a lingering foot injury and was seen in a boot at practice.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said all the players returning from IR are taking it day by day and did not give any hints about who may or may not be ready for Sunday against the Bears.
