‘He Had His Best Game’ – Kay Adams Backs Broncos’ Bo Nix After Week 11 Win Over Chiefs

The Denver Broncos opened up the game against the Kansas City Chiefs by playing keep-away. In fact, the Broncos’ first drive totaled 14 plays, 54 yards, and seven minutes and 24 seconds. Although the drive ended in a three-point score, it was a statement by quarterback Bo Nix: I’m taking control of the AFC West. By the end of the game, the Broncos won 22-19.

Bo Nix’s Best Game of 2025

Kay Adams chimed in on the Broncos-Chiefs result on Monday. She said that Week 11 was Nix’s “most complete game of the year,” among other things.

Adams said, “Bo Nix had his most complete game of the year. He had his best game. And this is really one of Denver’s biggest games of the decade. This is what I mean when I say I trust Bo in the AFC, okay? For those of you that think (otherwise). He’s a fourth-quarter guy. He’s shown it a lot. This is a game that really meant something. … This was a complete, great performance by him.”

For reference, here are Nix’s Week 11 passing stats below.

24-of-37 for 295 yards, eight yards per attempt, and an 89.4 passer rating.

Nix totaled three carries for eight yards as well. It’s his third 300-plus scrimmage yard game this season. There are two notable games: Week 4 against the Cincinnati Bengals and Week 7 against the New York Giants. In fact, this is the second time Nix has aired the ball out for at least 295 passing yards in a game.

Going into Week 11, the Chiefs allowed the sixth-fewest passing yards per game. So, this is a great development for Nix, No. 17 in PFSN’s QB Impact Score.

A microcosm of the game inside a microcosm of the game, tied 13-13 in the fourth quarter, Nix didn’t flinch — like during the first possession of the game, like against the Chiefs. He connected with rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant for 48 yards to flip the field position. On the Chiefs’ 32-yard line, Nix found tight end Evan Engram a play later for nine yards as well.

Indeed, it was Nix’s best game of the year. He’ll look to piggyback off it in Week 13 after a Week 12 bye week.
