Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Drake London is out for their game against Tampa Bay on Thursday, and others are listed as questionable.

The Atlanta Falcons are taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their NFC South showdown on Thursday Night Football. Tampa Bay is 1st in the division at 7-6, while the Falcons are 3rd at 4-9 and are eliminated from playoff contention. Atlanta is down a star player, and others are questionable.

Falcons Injury Updates

Atlanta will be without star wide receiver Drake London against Tampa Bay on Thursday as he was ruled out with a knee injury. London injured his knee against the Carolina Panthers in Week 11, where they were defeated 27-30 in overtime. In that contest, London had seven catches for 119 yards.

The extent of the injury was a PCL strain in his left knee. The Falcons’ head coach, Raheem Morris, stated that London was week to week. As time went on, London was considered for their Week 14 game against the Seattle Seahawks, which they lost 37-9.

London has missed three straight games, and now he’ll miss his fourth in their late-season stretch. Throughout this year, London has accumulated 60 receptions for 810 yards and six touchdowns. PFSN has London at an 85.8 Wide Receiver Impact Score.

Tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. was listed as questionable with a knee injury. Pitts was also a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. Pitts has been relatively healthy throughout his career, aside from season-ending knee surgery in November 2022 for a torn MCL and PCL in his right knee. With him being questionable, that’s something to note for the game.

Standout rookie edge rusher Jalon Walker is listed as questionable with a quad injury and was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. Walker has been a substantial contributor to the defense, with 21 tackles and five sacks this year.

It was reported by Tori McElhaney of the official team site that cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. did not receive a game designation for Thursday’s matchup as he’s dealing with a neck injury. But Terrell Jr. was a full participant in practice today, which is a good sign for the team as he’ll likely be available this week.
